GB Auto Hunter Valley are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician to be based full time on a local mine site, day shift only working the lifestyle roster – 4/5 -5/4 -5/5. 

This role will undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner to endure a high level of customer satisfaction.  

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)

• Work vehicle and fuel card are provided 
• Undertake preventative maintenance inspections of mobile plant and equipment
• Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Requirements:

• Experience working on mobile plant/light vehicles - highly regarded but not essential
• Qualified Auto Electrician or Mechanic - highly regarded
• Certificate 2 in A/C
• ARC Refrigeration Handling License is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Working at heights ticket is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Valid drivers license and reliable transport
